GenEdge privacy policy
Effective date: October 16, 2026
The Lambert Group LLC, doing business as GenEdge ("GenEdge," "we," "us," or "our"), provides artificial intelligence (AI) training, advisory, consulting, and development services.
As part of our work, we regularly use, evaluate, and test AI technologies. We believe in being transparent about how we collect, use, store, and share personal information, including how AI tools and connected applications may process that information.
This Privacy Policy applies to our website at https://genedge.co, our business communications, and information we handle in connection with our services, except where separate client agreements or application-specific privacy notices govern.
1. Information we collect
We collect information through several sources.
Information you provide: When you contact us, complete a website form or survey, request information, or engage our services, we may collect your name, email address, company, job title, and any information you choose to share.
Professional contacts and events: We may receive business contact information through professional interactions, referrals, and events where we speak or participate. We do not purchase, scrape, or enrich contact lists through third-party data providers.
Client and business information: We may receive or access business communications, meeting recordings and transcripts, internal documents, presentations, and other materials provided in connection with our services.
Website information: With your consent, we use Google Analytics to collect information about website visits, including browser and device characteristics, pages viewed, referral sources, and interactions with our website. Our hosting and other website service providers may also receive technical information necessary to deliver their services.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- Respond to inquiries and communicate with clients and prospective clients.
- Deliver AI training, advisory, consulting, and development services.
- Schedule meetings, manage projects, and maintain professional relationships.
- Maintain business contact records and send relevant marketing communications where permitted by law.
- Analyze website traffic and improve our website and services, subject to visitor analytics preferences.
- Develop, evaluate, and test AI tools and workflows, subject to our client confidentiality obligations.
- Maintain business records, protect our systems, and comply with legal requirements.
3. AI technologies and experimentation
AI is central to GenEdge's business. We regularly use and evaluate AI platforms, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, and other AI applications.
Our work includes testing new features, developing custom AI assistants, evaluating integrations, and demonstrating AI capabilities.
We primarily use paid or business AI services and configure available privacy settings to limit the use of information for AI model training and optional data sharing.
The privacy controls, retention practices, and data-processing policies of third-party providers vary. Disabling model training does not necessarily prevent a provider from processing or retaining information for other permitted purposes.
We review available privacy settings and data-handling practices when evaluating AI tools.
We do not use client information for unrelated AI experimentation unless the client has provided or authorized that information for the intended purpose.
4. AI integrations and connected applications
As part of our work, we connect AI platforms to business applications, including email, calendars, cloud storage, meeting tools, and other productivity systems.
These integrations operate according to the permissions and technical capabilities of their providers. Depending on the configuration, connected services may have broad access to information within those applications, including business communications, documents, and information unrelated to an individual task.
We evaluate available privacy settings, access permissions, and data-handling practices when using these integrations and configure available controls to limit the use of information for AI model training.
We handle client information in accordance with applicable confidentiality agreements, contractual requirements, and legal obligations. We do not intentionally use client information for unrelated AI experimentation without authorization.
5. Client information and confidentiality
We work with organizations that may provide internal documents, presentations, meeting transcripts, and other confidential business materials.
Our handling of client information is subject to applicable confidentiality agreements, statements of work, data-processing agreements, and legal requirements.
We may process client information through third-party technology and AI services when performing authorized work.
We do not treat client information as unrestricted material for unrelated purposes.
Where client agreements establish specific data-handling requirements, those agreements govern the relevant engagement.
6. Meeting recordings and transcripts
We may record or transcribe business meetings for documentation, follow-up, and service delivery.
We use meeting platforms that provide participants with recording or transcription notices and seek any additional consent required by applicable law.
Recordings and transcripts may be processed through third-party meeting, transcription, and AI services, consistent with applicable agreements and privacy requirements.
7. Custom AI applications
GenEdge develops and configures AI-powered applications and workflows for clients.
Depending on the application, these tools may process user inputs, uploaded documents, business information, and AI-generated outputs.
The providers involved, access permissions, retention practices, and data-handling responsibilities may vary by application.
Where appropriate, separate client agreements or application-specific privacy notices govern these activities.
8. Contact management and marketing communications
We maintain a privately managed customer relationship management (CRM) application developed by GenEdge. The application is hosted on Vercel and uses Supabase for database services.
We restrict access to the CRM through authentication and access controls.
Information submitted through our website contact forms and surveys is stored in Google Sheets and may be transferred to our CRM for business follow-up and contact management.
We may also add business contacts to our CRM when individuals contact us, interact with us professionally, or attend events where their information is shared with us for permitted business purposes.
We may send relevant business updates, educational content, service announcements, and marketing emails where permitted by applicable law.
We use Google Workspace for business email rather than a separate email marketing platform.
Recipients can unsubscribe from marketing communications using the unsubscribe option provided in our emails or by contacting privacy@genedge.co.
We record unsubscribe preferences in our CRM and use them to manage future marketing communications. Unsubscribing does not prevent necessary communications related to existing business relationships or services.
9. LinkedIn newsletter
GenEdge publishes a newsletter through LinkedIn.
Individuals choose whether to subscribe through LinkedIn. We do not independently add people to the LinkedIn newsletter subscriber list.
LinkedIn manages subscriptions and processes information associated with its platform according to its own privacy policy and terms.
10. Website hosting, cookies, and analytics
Website hosting
Our website is hosted on Vercel, which may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, and request details to deliver our website, maintain its performance, and protect it from abuse.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to understand website traffic and improve our website.
When you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics may collect information such as pages viewed, referral sources, scrolling activity, clicks on external links, file downloads, form interactions, video interactions, browser and device characteristics, and approximate geographic location.
Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish visits and measure website activity. These cookies may remain on your device for up to two years, depending on your browser settings and Google's configuration.
We use Google Analytics for website measurement, not advertising or remarketing. Google Signals is disabled, and our Google Analytics property is not linked to Google Ads, Display & Video 360, or Search Ads 360. Our website's analytics configuration also disables advertising personalization.
We configure Google Analytics to limit how long detailed analytics data is retained. Google's retention practices for other types of information and aggregated reporting may differ.
Google's information practices are described at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Your analytics choices
When you first visit our website, you can choose to accept or reject analytics cookies.
Google Analytics does not load, and analytics cookies are not set, unless you accept analytics.
We store your analytics preference in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie. You can change your preference at any time using the Cookie settings link in our website footer.
If you withdraw consent, we stop Google Analytics and delete its analytics cookies from your browser.
You may also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings.
Global Privacy Control
Our website recognizes Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals sent by compatible browsers.
When your browser sends a GPC signal, we do not load Google Analytics or set analytics cookies, regardless of any previously saved analytics preference.
Do Not Track
Some browsers provide a Do Not Track (DNT) setting that communicates a preference regarding online tracking.
Our website does not currently respond separately to DNT signals. Visitors can use our analytics consent controls to reject analytics cookies.
Embedded content and third-party services
Some pages contain embedded YouTube videos. We display a video placeholder until you choose to play a video. YouTube does not load or receive information through the embedded player until you click to load it.
When you choose to play a video, it loads using YouTube's privacy-enhanced embedding service (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube may then receive technical information about your visit and use cookies or similar technologies according to Google's applicable policies.
Our website also uses Google Fonts and, on certain pages, public content delivery networks to load website resources. These services may receive technical information, such as IP addresses and browser details, when resources are requested. These services operate independently of our Google Analytics consent controls.
Website forms
Information submitted through our contact forms and surveys is sent to Google Sheets for storage and business follow-up.
We do not intentionally send the contents of form fields or survey responses to Google Analytics. Google Analytics may record interactions such as starting or submitting a form when analytics consent has been granted.
11. How we share information
We may share information with service providers that support our operations, including:
- Vercel for website and application hosting.
- Supabase for database services.
- Google Workspace and Google Sheets for email, productivity applications, and form submissions.
- Google Analytics for website measurement, subject to visitor preferences.
- AI platforms and related technology providers.
- Meeting, transcription, document management, and other business applications.
- Accounting, payment, and professional service providers where applicable.
Our website may also communicate with providers of embedded content, fonts, and other resources, as described in Section 10.
These providers may process information as necessary to deliver their services under applicable agreements and legal requirements.
We do not sell personal information to data brokers or third parties for marketing purposes, and we do not intentionally disclose personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect our rights or security, or in connection with a business transaction.
12. Our role in processing information
For information collected through our website, business communications, and contact management activities, GenEdge generally determines how and why that information is processed.
When processing personal information on behalf of clients, our responsibilities depend on the services provided and applicable agreements. In some engagements, we act as a service provider or data processor under the client's instructions.
Where applicable, client agreements and data-processing agreements govern these responsibilities.
13. Data retention
We retain business contact information for as long as reasonably necessary to maintain professional relationships, manage communications, and fulfill legitimate business purposes, subject to applicable law.
Client documents, communications, and project materials are retained according to applicable client agreements, business needs, and legal obligations.
We may retain limited information necessary to honor unsubscribe requests, maintain financial records, resolve disputes, or meet legal requirements.
Third-party providers may maintain separate retention periods for information processed through their services.
You may contact us to request deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable exceptions.
14. Data security
We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information.
Our internal CRM uses authentication and access controls intended to restrict access to authorized users. We also use security and privacy features available through our business technology providers.
However, no electronic system, internet transmission, or third-party service can guarantee absolute security.
15. Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:
- Request access to personal information we maintain about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of certain personal information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
- Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
- Opt out of marketing communications.
- Request information about how we process or disclose your personal information.
Where applicable, you may also have rights to data portability, to submit requests through an authorized representative, or to complain to a relevant privacy regulator.
To submit a privacy request, contact privacy@genedge.co.
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
16. International information processing
GenEdge operates from California, United States, and may provide services to organizations in other countries, including through referrals and international business relationships.
Information may be processed or stored in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.
Where international privacy laws apply, we will follow applicable requirements concerning the processing and transfer of personal information.
17. Children's privacy
Our website and services are intended for business and professional audiences and are not directed toward children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through our website.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact privacy@genedge.co.
18. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our business practices, technology providers, or legal obligations change.
We will update the effective date when we revise this policy and provide additional notice of material changes where required by law.
